  Beautiful little beach all year round. Close enough to the airport that you can soak up the sun almost till it's time to check-in, at which point you stroll across the road to the airport. The waves are very gentle, making it ideal for just floating on your back and losing yourself in peaceful feeling. During the summer months it has a lifeguard too. It can be quite crowded, though, during busy times.

  Western Beach has had a major uplift Local Gibraltarians got together to make this area clean and safe for all to swim and enjoy the Rocks stunning views, here you can also see flights landing and taking off on its central runway ( great thrill for the little ones to enjoy ) there is a little and very well priced snack bar on the beach very friendly staff a real pleasure to talk to, go give it a try and if your not locked into a transfer between hotel and airport worth spending your last day on the Rock as its just across the Runway from the Terminal

  Small beach mainly used by locals, the sea is usually calm, small waves lapping against the beach. Good place to launch your Jetski, have a relaxing afternoon, or watching the planes land at the airport next door.
